IMPORTANT: For now, we can only ship print books to US addresses. Ebooks and audiobooks are sold to customers in the US, CAN, AUS, and NZ. We hope to add more countries soon.

We put together a little FAQ below that hopefully answers all your questions. 🙂

I. PRINT BOOKS

How long does it take until an order ships?

Please allow up to a week for processing and shipping of print books. Our goal is to ship your books out as quickly as we can, but delays are possible.

Do you also ship books outside the US?

For now, we can only ship signed books to US addresses. We’re sorry! We hope to ship internationally at some point in the future. Please check back often to see if we’ve started shipping to your country. All packages are shipped with tracking enabled.
Book prices exclude shipping. It’s $2 for the first book, and then $1 for every additional book.

 

II. EBOOK & AUDIOBOOKS

How do I download my ebooks and audiobooks?

You will receive a private download link for every book you purchase. Alternatively, you can also visit https://purchase.bookfunnel.com/maricarrstore to access your books.

We use BookFunnel to deliver your books. BookFunnel is an ebook and audiobook service founded by (and for!) indie authors deep in the heart of Texas.

If you don’t receive an email from BookFunnel with your download link, please visit https://purchase.bookfunnel.com/maricarrstore to access your books. BookFunnel’s Reader Help page may also provide further solutions: https://bookfunnel.com/help/.

Please note: You have 14 days to download the book, and can request additional time by visiting https://bookfunnel.com/help/

What ebook formats are available?

Our books can be downloaded in EPUP or MOBI formats, and read in any reading app or device of your choice.
PDF is not available.

You can also read our books in the BookFunnel app or in BookFunnel’s browser-based cloud reader.

The BookFunnel App can be installed on these mobile devices:

  • iOS 11+ (2017) Most iPads and iPhones released since 2013 were updated to iOS 11 and can install the BookFunnel App. iPod Touches that were updated to iOS 11 can also install the app.
  • Android 5.1+ (2013) Android devices running at least Android 5.1 can install the BookFunnel app from the Google Play Store.
  • Amazon Fire Tablet 5th Gen+ (2015) All Amazon Fire Tablets released since 2015 (and most 2014 4th Gen tablets too) can install the BookFunnel app.
  • NOOK Tablet (2016) NOOK tablets released since 2016 can download the BookFunnel App from the Google Play Store.

The BookFunnel App cannot be installed on any e-Ink reading device, including Kindle Paperwhite, Touch, and Voyage, NOOK Glowlight, Kobo ereader, etc.

The BookFunnel Cloud Reader is supported on these devices:

  • PC, Mac, and Unix Computers Our cross-platform cloud reader works on all modern computer browsers. Most older operating systems are also supported when using the latest (supported) version of Chrome or Firefox.
  • iOS 10+ (2016) Most iPads and iPhones released since 2012 were updated to iOS 10 and can access the BookFunnel Cloud Reader. iPod Touches that were updated to iOS 10 can also access the reader.
  • Android 4.0+ (2012)
  • Amazon Fire Tablets 2nd Gen+ (2012)
  • NOOK Tablets (2014) The Samsung Galaxy NOOK was released in 2014 and can access the BookFunnel cloud reader.

The following devices cannot access the cloud reader or install the BookFunnel App:

  • E-Ink devices, including Kindle Paperwhite, Kindle Touch, Kindle Voyage, Kindle Oasis, NOOK Glowlight, Kobo Aura, Kobo Clara, etc.
  • Internet Explorer (Install Chrome or Firefox!)
  • Kindle Fire 1st Gen (2011)
  • NOOK Color (2010)
  • NOOK Tablet (2011)
  • NOOK HD (2012)

I have a problem downloading my book(s).

Just click the Need Help? link at the top of the download page to let a member of BookFunnel’s support staff know when you are having trouble downloading your book. You can also send an email to help@bookfunnel.com and a member of their support team will get back to you within 24 hours.

Do I have to install an app in order to download/transfer my books?

No, you don’t. Just follow the steps to download your ebook / send your ebook to whichever reading app you prefer, or read it in BookFunnel’s cloud reader! No app required.

While an app is not required, the BookFunnel App makes it very easy to enjoy your ebooks and audiobooks alike. It allows you to download a book to your Android device, Apple iOS device, or Amazon Kindle Fire tablet wirelessly (no USB cable required). It makes the download process faster and simpler. It has no ads or upsell, no tracking, and no pop-ups.

My computer crashed and I lost all of my books, can I re-download my purchases?

Yes, you can get your books from your BookFunnel library: https://my.BookFunnel.com.
Your email address is your login. If you purchased the book with your PayPal account, your login will be your primary PayPal email address.

You can also send an email to help@bookfunnel.com or fill out a help request here: https://bookfunnel.com/help/. A member of BookFunnel’s support team will reply back within 24 hours!

III. GENERAL

I need to change an order / shipping address.

Please email mari @ maricarr.com (w/o spaces) for help. Please provide some order details (e.g. your order number, the name and/or email you used to place the order), so we can locate your order quickly.

Do you give refunds?

Mistakes can happen to all of us. In case you purchase accidentally the wrong ebook or audiobook, we will refund your money or send you the right book instead (if the price is the same). However, if you have downloaded the book(s) prior to asking for a refund, we consider you to have bought them.

Don’t download the books and email mari @ maricarr.com (w/o spaces) right away.

We have a 7-day return policy only on damaged print materials, which means you have 7 days after receiving your item to request a return. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item, so that we may evaluate the issue and make it right. Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items, personalized/signed items, or gift cards.
